Port House - sleeps up to ten.

	The Port House, built just three years ago, faces south-east towards the Peloponnese, in the charming and quiet fishing port of Agios Nicolaos on the north eastern coast of Zakynthos . It sleeps up to 10 with a combination of double and twin rooms. This is an ideal villa for those who want to be based in a village and close to its amenities. It is a one minute walk to the beach and a waterside restaurant, specialising in barbecued fish and 3 minutes' walk to the local shop. There also two other restaurants in the port and a small supermarket. Of course there are many more restaurants that can be easily reached by car within 5-10 minutes. It is a pleasure to sit and watch the fishing boats come in and out and the beautiful yachts that visit the port: don't forget your binoculars! The ferry from Kefalonia visits twice a day, which gives you the opportunity to easily explore other islands. You can take a boat trip to the Blue Caves or visit the shipwreck at Shipwreck Bay or simply tour the beautiful coastline of Zakynthos. 		The house is very private and very secure and can only be entered by the front door into the covered courtyard or through the door by the pool, which is only used by the gardener and pool man. The courtyard has a large dining table and chairs just perfect for al fresco dining. Just off the courtyard is a twin bedroom and ensuite bathroom, with shower, hand basin and lavatory. To the right of the courtyard is the kitchen, dining and sitting area with fireplace offering views on the bay and south down the coastline. The kitchen is very well equipped and fully fitted with dishwasher, cooker, and a large refrigerator, and of course everything you would expect of a modern kitchen. As you leave the courtyard, there is a covered verandah with seating and a built in barbecue. This area looks directly out to the port with the delightful little island in the centre of the bay with its ruined temple. On the first floor accessed by stairs from the living are two more double bed bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, one with a bath as well as shower. From the courtyard there is a stairway which leads to a lower terrace with two more twin bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a utility room with washing machine, dryer and sink, plus an extra refrigerator for keeping cold drinks, etc. A few steps down from the terrace is the L-shaped plunge pool, totally private; no-one from outside the house can see you bathing naked!
