You can hire boats from Nikos (He also owns and runs the restaurant Vardiola) in Mikro Nisi. It's your chance to skipper your own boat without the hassle of ownership. And no experience is necessary, Nikos will show you the ropes. All the local boat operators are licensed by the Port Authority and are insured. Each of the boats comes complete with all the safety essentials including, life jacket, flares, oars, anchor, fire extinguisher		Below is the 8 seater, this comes fully equipped with cushions and a stereo. In addition you get a full tank of fuel and a mobile phone should you need back up or simply some advice. The cost is €160 per day. The technical spec is - length 6 metres, beam 2.15 metres, engine 75 hp outboard. Remember for this boat you'll need an ICC license. The boat pictured opposite is smaller - no need for a license! But can still carry 7 people in comfort. She's 5 meters long, 2 metres in the beam and has a 15 hp engine. The day rental is €80. Again she's kept moored in Mikro Nisi.
